Diagnosing Healthcare
What if we told you America is killing us…would you help? It’s time for a conversation. It’s time to diagnose Black healthcare. So let’s talk about mistreatment, Black doctors, cruel health studies, our mistrust, our inequities. Let’s talk about our loss, our grief, our fears, and our Black fatigue. Diagnosing Healthcare amplifies the voices of Black patients, physicians, public health experts, and advocates to explore American healthcare’s systemic and historical mistreatment of Black patients. By examining illegal experimentation, inhumane studies, office malpractice, and outcome inequities, our history of resistance continues. It is our legacy to advocate for ourselves, our families, our communities. Through the journey of Sankofa, we build our village. Through our village, we must rebuild our systems.
To restore our beloved community, we must fight the policies that keep us isolated. We must fight the policies that don’t see us.
